Terms and Conditions

BarangayHub is an online platform provided by the barangay to support resident services such as online registration, document requests, appointment scheduling, incident/complaint reporting, inquiry/feedback submission, and system notifications.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using BarangayHub, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

3. Eligibility and Registration

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Registration may require verification (including OTP verification) and may be subject to approval by authorized barangay personnel.
• If your information cannot be verified or is incomplete, your registration may be delayed, rejected, or requested for correction.

4. Account Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You agree to notify the barangay immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• You are responsible for activities performed through your account unless proven otherwise.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use BarangayHub only for legitimate barangay-related purposes. You must not:

• Submit false information, impersonate another person, or misrepresent your identity.
• Submit fraudulent document requests, falsified supporting information, or spam inquiries.
• File malicious or knowingly false incident/complaint reports.
• Attempt to probe, scan, disrupt, or compromise system security.
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code.

6. Service Requests and Processing

• Requests submitted through BarangayHub may require additional validation or supporting documents.
• Processing times may vary depending on workload, office hours, and verification requirements.
• Submission through the platform does not guarantee immediate approval or issuance of documents.

7. Communications and Notifications

By using BarangayHub, you consent to receive service-related notifications through in-app alerts, email, and/or SMS (e.g., OTP verification, request updates, appointment updates, and important announcements), subject to your preferences and system availability.

8. Privacy

Your personal data is handled according to the Privacy Policy. Please read it carefully before using BarangayHub.

9. Suspension or Termination

The barangay may suspend or terminate access to BarangayHub if you violate these Terms, submit fraudulent information, or misuse the platform. This may be done without prior notice when necessary to protect the integrity of the system and the community.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

BarangayHub is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we aim to provide reliable service, the barangay does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or immediate processing results. To the extent permitted by law, the barangay is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

11. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of BarangayHub after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
